Maryam Hadi is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist and researcher in the field of psychology. She is currently studying Public Health at Purdue University in the United States. Her interests and expertise lie in interpersonal relationships, migration, mind-body connection, trauma, anxiety, and depression.
Maryam Hadi holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Sharif University and a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Tehran. Since 2016, she has been offering individual therapy sessions, both in-person and online, in Tehran, treating clients with various complaints such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and personality disorders. She has published articles on parenting, mental health, mindfulness, self-regulation, and time in psychoanalysis in renowned international journals and Asian international congresses.
Part of her psychoanalytic training was completed at Tehran Center for Psychoanalytic Studies(TCPS) and through group supervision courses at psychoanalytic institutions like HamAva and MehrPsy. She has experience conducting workshops and educational sessions for parents and teenagers at Allameh Helli schools in Tehran, and she has also volunteered at an adult education center in the United States.
In the clinical field, her interests focus on working with immigrants or those in the process of migration, individuals with anxiety disorders, depression, personality issues, and motivational challenges.
