Dr. Sara Ziafar holds a doctorate in health psychology and is pursuing a career in analytical psychotherapy. She is licensed and a member of the Iranian Psychological System Organization. She is also a member and therapist of the Iranian Association of Psychologists. During her master’s degree, she became interested in psychoanalytical approaches and began studying and training in various analytical methods.
She had the opportunity to learn from esteemed professors such as Dr. Hossein Mojtahdi, Dr. Siamak Mohedi, Dr. Mahdia Moin, Dr. Noha Sera, and others. Throughout her professional career, Sara has maintained a dual focus on research and clinical work. She has published articles in reputable academic journals, including Shahid Beheshti. In addition to her clinical work, she is also involved in teaching at the university and serves as an expert in psychology for radio media. As she progresses towards becoming an analytical therapist, Sara is dedicated to adhering to the three standards set by the International Psychoanalytic Association.
Alongside her training, she engages in clinical work under the supervision of individual and group supervisors. Since 2018, she has also been undergoing psychoanalytic treatment herself. Currently, Sara’s clinical approach is object relations in psychoanalysis. Her clinical work primarily focuses on patients with psychosomatic conditions, difficult and chronic medical diseases, and the seniors at General Rasoul Akram and Shahid Rajaei hospitals. Additionally, her analytical treatment extends to various psychological disorders such as communication disorders, depression, obsession, personality disorders, and more. She aims to assist individuals in understanding the deeper layers of their psyche and the reasons behind their behaviors.
