Dr. Samira Rostami

psychologist, psychoanalytic psychotherapist

Dr. Samira Rostami has been gratuated in Psychology from Shiraz University, she has started her clinical activity as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist since 2017. She is a member of Tehran Psychoanalytic Studies Center and Iran Psychological System Organization. She is interested in individual psychotherapy and published several articles in this field like Attachment, Mentalization, Self-forgiveness, Differentitation, Emotions of Shame, Guilt, Empathy, and Loneliness. In addition, she also has a teaching experience at the university. In the clinical field, she is interested in working with Adolescents and Adults.

Bachlor’s degree in Educational Science from Shiraz University (2007-2011).
Master’s degree in Psychology from Shiraz University with thesis on The Relationship Between Attachment to Parents and Peers and Feelings of Loneliness: Mediation Shame and Guilt (2011-2013).
PhD Graduated of Psychology from Shiraz University with thesis on Narrative Analysis of Iranian Students’ Self-Forgiveness from Mentalization Perspective(2015-2022).
Candidate in Tehran Psychoanalytic Studies Center from (2022 until now).
