All of us need a safe space to be heard and understood. As a psychiatrist and counselor, I strive to create such a space for my clients—one where they can share their emotions, thoughts, and challenges without fear of judgment. I listen carefully to what they say, empathize with their experiences, and stand by them as they gain a better understanding of themselves and make more informed decisions for their lives. I hope that, in this process, I can play even a small role in creating positive change in my clients’ lives
