b. I understand that online therapy sessions may differ from in-person therapy, such as potential limitations in non-verbal communication.
2. Confidentiality and Privacy:
a. E Reliever ensures the confidentiality and privacy of my therapy sessions. However, it is essential to note that only some can fully guarantee the security of online communication due to potential technical vulnerabilities. the E Reliever will not share personal information to third parties, unless it is necessary to complete law orders.
b. I understand that E Reliever will take reasonable measures to protect my personal information and maintain confidentiality by applicable laws and regulations.
3. Risks and Benefits:
a. I acknowledge that there are potential risks associated with online therapy, including but not limited to technical difficulties, interruptions in communication, and unauthorized access to confidential information.
b. I also acknowledge the potential benefits of online therapy, such as increased accessibility, convenience, and flexibility in scheduling sessions.
4. Professional Credentials and Scope of Practice:
a. I understand that the therapists providing services through E Reliever are licensed and qualified professionals in their respective jurisdictions.
b. I acknowledge that the therapists will adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of practice during our therapy sessions.
5. Fees and Payment:
a. E Reliever will provide me with information regarding the fees for online therapy services, including any cancellation or rescheduling policies.
b. I understand that payment for therapy sessions will be processed through secure online payment methods as agreed upon with E Reliever.
By marking below, I acknowledge that I have read and understood the information provided in this informed consent form. I willingly consent to online therapy services through E Reliever and agree to abide by the platform’s terms and conditions.
c. Customer is debited immediately after booking an appointment.
Cancellation Policy for E Reliever – Online Mental health Platform
At E Reliever, we understand that life is unpredictable and sometimes appointments need to be canceled or rescheduled. Our cancellation policy is designed to respect the time of both our clients and our therapists. Please review the policy below to ensure a smooth and respectful process for all parties involved.
Making Cancellations or Rescheduling
- Advance Notice: We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for the cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment. This allows us to offer the time slot to another client in need of our services.
- How to Cancel or Reschedule: To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please use the “Manage Appointments” feature on our website. If you encounter any issues, contact our customer support team via email at appoitment@ereliever.com.
- Late Cancellations: Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice will incur a late cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the session cost. This fee compensates our therapists for the time that had been allocated to the session.
- No-Shows: Clients who do not show up for their scheduled session without prior notification will be charged the full cost of the session.
Exceptions
We understand that emergencies happen. If you need to cancel within 24 hours due to an emergency, please contact our support team as soon as possible to discuss the situation. Exceptions to the cancellation fee will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Refunds
- Late Cancellations and No-Shows: Fees for late cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable.
- Advance Cancellations: If a session is canceled with more than 24 hours notice, the client will receive a full refund of any pre-paid session fees.
Recurring Appointments
Clients with recurring appointments are encouraged to cancel or reschedule appointments they cannot attend, adhering to the 24-hour notice policy. This courtesy helps maintain a seamless scheduling flow and availability for all clients.
