Maryam Barzkar psychiatrist (MD) is graduated from general medicine in 2015 and entered the psychiatry residency program at the Iran University of Medical Sciences in 2017. She has been working as a psychiatrist and psychotherapist since 2022 and is currently a member of the Iranian Psychiatric Association. She completed her training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the Tehran Psychiatric Institute during her study course and is currently a student in Diploma education of group therapy at group analytic institute of Stockholm and is involved in translating a book in this field from English to Farsi.
Barzkar was one of the lecturers of 23rd World Congress of Psychiatry (WCP 2023) in Vienna, Austria and has also participated in various workshops and courses in Iran.
