Dr. Afsaneh Rezaei Kalat is a psychiatrist graduated from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences and holds a specialized boaed. She started her professional activity in the field of psychoanalytic psychotherapy simultaneously with the beginning of her residency period and due to her previous interest in this field. She has worked under the supervision of professors from Iran and Mashhad University of Medical Sciences since 2018.
At the same time, she joined the Reaserch Center for Psychiatry and Behavioural Sciences of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences and also Tehran Center for Psychoanalytic Studies (TCPS). Currently, she is completing her advanced course in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at that center. She has a history of speaking and participating in several psychoanalytic and psychiatric congresses in Tehran.
She also has a history of participating in online courses on topics related to psychology and addiction held by prestigious universities in the world such as Yale University in the United States. In addition, due to her interest in the field of research, she has published several articles related to the profession of psychiatry during her general medical and specialized education.
In the clinical field, she is interested in working with adults in the field of psychoanalytic psychotherapy as well as interpersonal problems and psychiatric disorders (such as depression, anxiety, addiction, ect).
